WebEligibility: Pregnant individuals ages 18-40 years in their first, second, or third trimester. Pregnant individuals must have received a previous ultrasound exam from a physician to participate. Non-pregnant females ages 18-40 years. Participants must be able to read and understand English and be able to lie still for ultrasound scanning. WebThe ultrasound transducer has an orientation index marker, which is pointed differently in each echocardiographic view. A corresponding marker is shown in the ultrasound image. The index marker facilitates orientation.
