WebAug 6, 2016 · 10. I'm not really sure what you're asking, but that's just how they designed it. An EditText can have multiple TextWatcher s, and it keeps a collection for them. Adding null to that collection won't remove any of them. An EditText can have only one OnFocusChangeListener, though, so setting it to null essentially removes it, if it had one. WebMay 26, 2015 · What this accomplishes is it expands the keyboard to the entire length of the area, it focuses on it, which allows the entire area to be clickable, and then it removes the keyboard so that it looks to the user like they are able to click that field and bring up a keyboard.
